Our Guidebook is designed to tell the story of the watershed that is the Delaware River. Originating in New York State. Two large reservoirs help form the main stem. Merging the east branch & west ends up defining the borders between New York, New Jersey, & New York. The eco-system is built by hundreds of miles of traversing water to the Delaware Bay. And out to the Atlantic Ocean.
Migrating species of fish such as shad, herring, & striped bass return to the river each year. Their life cycle from living out in the ocean, they re-appear each spring. Each April, there is an annual shad festival in Lambertville.
The publication has plenty of places to stay. Cozy bed & breakfasts. Fishing guides. Kayaking. Bird watching. Hiking. Enjoying a great dinner, breakfast, or lunch. Taking in the history.
